Cell Phone Policy

GMS has implemented a new cell phone policy. We believe that removing the distraction of a mobile device from our school will lead to an environment more conducive to learning. It will also serve as a safe place for students' social and emotional wellbeing.

If students are caught with their phone during school, they will face disciplinary actions:

  • 1st Offense: Student delivers their cell phone to the GMS office. He/she may retrieve the phone at the end of the day. Parent/Guardian will be alerted via Infinite Campus.
  • 2nd Offense: Student delivers their cell phone to the GMS office. Parent/Guardian will be contacted by administration and asked to come retrieve the cell phone on behalf of their student at the end of the day.
  • 3rd Offense: Student delivers their cell phone to the GMS office. Student will have to turn their phone in to the office each morning to be kept during school hours for two weeks. Parent/Guardian will be contacted by administration.
